The Garden
One day into a garden fair I wandered
Filled with flowers and herbs and plants
All faces turned towards the sun
That streamed down from heaven above
Filled with flowers and herbs and plants
All faces turned towards the sun
That streamed down from heaven above
Pink edged daisies blue tipped rosemary
Green oregano and mint
Swayed they did in tune to me
As I walked around the tree
Under which all this glory grew
On greensward covering the ground
Yellow dandelions marched along
Formation perfect so it seemed
Next to dock leaves big and green
Nestled by nettles ready to sting
Green oregano and mint
Swayed they did in tune to me
As I walked around the tree
Under which all this glory grew
On greensward covering the ground
Yellow dandelions marched along
Formation perfect so it seemed
Next to dock leaves big and green
Nestled by nettles ready to sting
Evening
Evening arrived
Pale moonlight lighted on all
Shimmery shapes appeared
Topped with magic swaying tall
Giving out ethereal blissQueen Mab and Tatiana then did come
Gossamer winged were they
Around them fairies danced
Singing in sweet dulcet tones
Overhead in tops of trees
Birdlife watched with hooded eyes
Enjoying all the magic fun
That pranced so far below
Night
At last a multitude of stars
Shone from the firmament
Up on high
Each one a special message had
For those who listened carefully
Silvery sparkles in the sky
Streams of light betwixt each one
Guiding home the many souls
Returning to the Mighty One
And in the garden far below
All was peaceful movement slow
As cell by cell babies did grow
New born taking their first breath
Opening eyes to see the glory of Nature all around
Shone from the firmament
Up on high
Each one a special message had
For those who listened carefully
Silvery sparkles in the sky
Streams of light betwixt each one
Guiding home the many souls
Returning to the Mighty One
And in the garden far below
All was peaceful movement slow
As cell by cell babies did grow
New born taking their first breath
Opening eyes to see the glory of Nature all around
and so it is
