Going Home
Into a glorious garden we came
Filled with flowers of every name
Tulips roses cyclamen
Rainbow colours bestowed upon
A path of variegated stones
Led us further on
Not really knowing where we went
It mattered not to us
Filled with flowers of every name
Tulips roses cyclamen
Rainbow colours bestowed upon
A path of variegated stones
Led us further on
Not really knowing where we went
It mattered not to us
We a band of travellers were
Our inner vision guided all
A roadway leading us to home
Far it seemed yet so near
Our inner vision guided all
A roadway leading us to home
Far it seemed yet so near
Colours
Clothed we were in garments rare
A multitude of colours they
Deepest red transcendent purple
Every shade inbetween
Red orange yellow
Green and blue
Together with royal purple combined
Making purest white
Colour of the Light
A journey of the heart
A multitude of colours they
Deepest red transcendent purple
Every shade inbetween
Red orange yellow
Green and blue
Together with royal purple combined
Making purest white
Colour of the Light
A journey of the heart
The Man
A story now I can tell
It started long ago
When the sky was filled with stars
Glittered they for all to see
Who to the heavens glanced
Along a stony path
A lonesome traveller came
On his back were many loads
Each one of wood was made
Around his ankles chains were tied
His feet with shoes of stone were weighed
Hard for him it was to walk
It started long ago
When the sky was filled with stars
Glittered they for all to see
Who to the heavens glanced
Along a stony path
A lonesome traveller came
On his back were many loads
Each one of wood was made
Around his ankles chains were tied
His feet with shoes of stone were weighed
Hard for him it was to walk
Letting Go
To a forest then he came
And sank down on the ground
Weary to his soul was he
His troubles weighed him down
Then from nowhere a man did appear
Kindly his face filled with grace
And loving concernGently he spoke to the weary traveller
Why carry so much on your back
Why not let it go
Those chains around your ankles
No need of them have you
Stones in your shoes do hurt your feet
Get rid of them too
And sank down on the ground
Weary to his soul was he
His troubles weighed him down
Then from nowhere a man did appear
Kindly his face filled with grace
And loving concernGently he spoke to the weary traveller
Why carry so much on your back
Why not let it go
Those chains around your ankles
No need of them have you
Stones in your shoes do hurt your feet
Get rid of them too
Letting Go, Letting God
An so the weary traveller did
Amazed at the travesty
Of life he had carried for so long
All the things weighing him down
Had been placed there by himself
Bad thoughts and feelings
Judgements too
Had made the weights around his soul
Amazed at the travesty
Of life he had carried for so long
All the things weighing him down
Had been placed there by himself
Bad thoughts and feelings
Judgements too
Had made the weights around his soul
Strike Not
There are rules
Set by the Mighty One
Karmic flows engendered they
By those who on others preyA sure way into darkness be
For slander doth return
To those who at the light
Do strike
You might not believe
But it is so
Set by the Mighty One
Karmic flows engendered they
By those who on others preyA sure way into darkness be
For slander doth return
To those who at the light
Do strike
You might not believe
But it is so
