Journeying to the Heavens..And Nature's Gifts Below

Weary Travellers

A staircase rimmed with bronzed hue
Rose from the earth into the sky
Weary travellers made their way
Up into the heavenly realms

Led they were by One who knew
Where journey soon would end
First each one to make amends
For all that had been said and done

Into his eyes compassion came
He knew the perils that lay ahead
Some small some large
Each accordingly been made

In Shadow

It seems not very long ago
The world in shadow it was bathed
Waiting for the sun to send its rays
Awakening the day

A beautiful time was yet to come
When loving was the only way
Twixt man and man
Twixt man and beast
All an important part to play

Light

cometh the Light

Trumpets sounded far away
Heralding the newborn day
Joy came forth into the hearts
Of those who opened eyes to see
Their ears to hear

Light it spread across the land
Slowly moving
Intense in knowing
Living In God's Holy Thoughts

Nature

azure waters

Bathed in brilliant hues
Azure blue lakes and seas
Greensward forest grass and trees
Emerald glowing everywhere

Adding depth and glorious light
To all who gazed upon this sight
The magnificence of Nature's way
Bestowed so gracefully on all
