The Search for Who? ...It takes a While to Find the Answer To..Some Day You Will...

His Search

Through tops of trees
A breeze doth blow
Echoing in his ears
Once a king o'er land and sea
Now a pilgrim wandering alone
Gave up all to find the keys
Searching high and low
Not realizing he
Within him they could be

Like so many of his kind
Always looking outside
In world where reality
A mere reflection of themselves

Other Travellers

Cross mountains his weary way did wend
Through valleys and pastures green
Sometimes too tired to onwards go
Stop he would not so do

Other travelers he came across
They walked besides him for a while
Then left to go their own sweet ways
Searching they too
For some elusive memory
Inspired it once had done
To make them journey on

Forgetfulness

A nymph seen rising from the sea
Garbed in silvered white
Jewels round neck and wrists
Rest so beautifully

Shine they do so very bright
When touched by myriad beams of light
Shimmering twinkling gorgeous to behold
Blinding all who look

Magical power they do issue
Forgetfulness of all that is
What has taken place before
All memories disappear

The Key

She came to him the weary one
Laid her hands upon his face
An energy through them did come
No longer tired his eyes lit up
He knew

No more searching had he to do
The key of life given to him
One he could share with all who came his way
The key of everlasting joy
Knowing of the Soul within

and so it is...
