Inspired I was to write this by a friend of mine here who shared with me earlier today. He is a wise and caring man and even though we sometimes have different ideologies we can still meet and share our friendship and loving.
Forgotten things....
Behind in corners lie
Mysteries as old as time
Forgotten now they are
But once a joy to all
Deeds of noble women men
Into battle they did go
For right and light
All meaningful things
Sadly lost today
Yet when brought into sight
Once again take on a sheen
Brightly lit in every way

You and you and me and me
Stand tall in what we think and do
Beacons of loving whole and sound
Another age has come around
So what are the mysteries buried deep
In corners there to be found
Golgotha a magnificent one
Wonderful to tell

A mystery to solve maybe
Hard to imagine such pain
Such cruelty
Enemies had He
Yet all this part of God's plan
To bring salvation to man
Allowing His Son
Much pain and suffering
Yet able still to bring the Light
And take those caught up in hell
Back into the heart of God
The mystery now is solved
For all of us who do believe
And accept the Will of He
The Three in One
The One in Three
