The sea roared hungrily
Taking back into its depths
All that man had built
All was desolate

People burned into grotesque shapes
Huddled on the ground
Nowhere to go
No escape
From fury of the elements

oh Mr. Crow

Hello hello you silly crow
Who do you think you are
Flying high in the sky
Or picking trash up off the ground

Large you have grown
These passing years
Your body span now immense
Filling the sky with big black wings

Others of Your Ilk

dark and bloody

Hello hello you demon crow
Back alleys you do haunt
Your fangs are bared ready to bite
Into the jugular at night

that is the time you do your work
so I was told

Along with others of your ilk
You prowl the lonely streets
Crypts are your home
Where you retire
Your bloody jaws and awful stink
More dead than alive entire
