He Knows

Into the maws of death he strode
Trumpets loud did sound
His pen had written many things
Do-gooders then did yell

A way it was for them to hell

The rider a proud and noble man was he
Upright in every way
His knowledge of the planets strong
Their influence on humankind he told

but fanatics did not this way go

Above Them All

Instead berated him they did
With wild and negative words
Not realizing that in themselves
