There Was a Boy...a tale of forgotten Loves

cnwriter..carolinaStarred Page
We have all experienced heart rending pangs at the loss of one we thought we loved..Gone they are but memories still linger...a rather foolish thing to do but being human is just part of that melodrama...for my darling frederic....whom i love still as he does me....

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time a Frenchman loved me and I loved him
At least I thought I did!
Passionate he was about me although he wrote
'We are too passionate and this could be difficult one day'
Of course it could would for he was gay

But oh so beautiful he was in every way

and I the clown.....
Like me he could intone in many ways
Sometimes deep and sometimes high
Melodic ways to show each other

Voicing that we cared

Gone So Near Away

Now he has gone so near away
At least down the road his showroom moved
Although I see it every day
As I drive by

Sometimes I look into the windows
Of his glorious Atelier
Filled with furniture and lighting
Accessories to blow your mind

but mine was blown long ago

Does He Know

I wonder if he knows I think about him
Write pages about him
Does he care
i know he does as i do too
but on a different path am I

He wanted this way to go
But could not handle myenergy
Of something so profound

Spiritual energy
It blew his mind
And took his person far away from me

Those of You who Read This Page

Many of you who read this page
Have had experiences such as mine
Such as this

To what end did you take your self
Or did you let it blow your mind
And in your grave let lie

goodbye......

A Mid Spring's Night Dream..Asses and All......

cnwriter..carolinaStarred PageBy cnwriter..carolinaShakespeare had great wisdom and we are fortunate that his works still are with us. This was a fun piece to write and it is fun to have fun...at least I think it is and many of my friends here  will have a good laugh at the stuff herein...so do enjoy!!!

The Bard

My friend the Bard
One summer's day
Took upon himself
To write a play entitled
A Mid-Summer Night's Dream

Oh what a scream
People running hither and thither
In forest hiding
Asses head upon their shoulders

A mix it was of playful games
Love and hate
Those fun things
That seem to make the world go round
Then as Now

So thought I to do the same

Set on a stage in Mykonos
Atop a hill
All red and gold and mirrors there
Surrounded by blue blue sea
On which sailed tiny bateaux
(boats to you!)
Around forest glade
Some actors played
Came they had from Athens
To show their wares

Harlequined costumes
Cod pieces too
Covering their nether ends!!!!

On their heads sat asses hats
Long ears pocked through small small holes
Eyes peered through tiny slits
Across their mouths we will not say
Sellotaped they should have been

Fun and Games

The lady and her favourite paramour
At least at this time was
Most she had frightened into graves
No matter old or young

They into forest came by chance
To spend a night of gaiety
Not knowing others too were there
Bent on playing similar games

An Athenian knight dithering was he
Wondering where his lady be
He did not know she had wandered away
To find another with whom to play

A Good Time

All bent on having a good time
These different folk strolled here and there
Not really caring whom they would find
Hidden away by stream or cave
Only their lusty natures mattered now

One of the players kind heart had he
Came upon a pretty maid
Asleep on forest's lavender she did lie
Nearby another lay

Oh dear he said
Here lies that pretty maid
My master told me of
Betrayed by one like him
A churl indeed

So taking up a pot of stuff
Gooblee goblee like all her words
The ones she writes on our fair site
He threw on eyes and thus intoned

"Churl upon thine eyes I throw
All the power this spell doth know
When thou awakest let love forbid
Sleep his seat on thy eyelid"
quote from Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer's Night Dream

Wool o'er Eyes

Off then he went upon his way
Looking for others of his ilk
Who had accompanied him
Across blue Mediterranean seas

Naughty they were
Tricky dickies indeed
Waiting to pull the wool o'er your eyes
If you let them come too close

Do be aware the moral contained herein
And if you can't
Then continue on your way through life
As it has always been
Ha ha ha ha ha ha......

The Loss of Dreams....

This is a piece on a fallen fairy why and how she fell. Her job to spin dreams of many colours to place them on the eyelids of man.

Lost..

Through the forest
She wandered
Lost
Not knowing where to go

No sound penetrated the
Darkness
Even the wind was still

A whimper escaped her
Lips so blue
Whilst all around
The silence grew

Pictures of the mind

A fairy world
She came from
Translucent blue and grey
With magic
Always being
The order of the day

Celestial skies
Deep green meadows framed
Where lambs played and gambolled
And shone the sun so brightly
Even when it rained

For this was an enchanted place
Where dreams were spun
In golden threads
Before lighting on the sight of men
Placing pictures in their minds

Emerging

From many levels they did come
High and low
Far and wide
All varied energies emerging
Into great swoops
Pictures of every shade and colour

Intermingled so they were
As ribbons caught and sewn
Together
In variegated bands
Each serving its purpose
As illusions often do

Knowing Inside

Some to cloud the thoughts of man
Some to disturb
These were dark in colour
Red, black, dark blue
Colours true they were
For deeds they had to do

Yet ones of lilac, pink and white
Would light upon man's eyelids
And bring forth much delight
A smile upon their lips would form
Whilst deep in sleep they lay
For knowingness inside them
Still took place

Doing...

And she herself
Her body light as down
Transparent wings
Carrying her
Far and wide
Doing the work
She had come to do

Now for eons
With others of her ilk
They played their game
And plied their trade
Of night filled dreams
To all who fell asleep

Losing herself..

It mattered not
To them
These bringers of fantasy
And the like
Their job it was to do

But how could she
Who knew so well
The dreams of man
Beguiled now
Herself too
For temptation takes on
Many guises

She followed thus
A bronzed youth
His golden curls
And deep green eyes
His body beautiful
And strong
Pulled her to him

Without thought of
All she left behind
She followed him

Erotic love it had become
Her body lithe
Lifting to him
And he in glory
And being man
Took her

And thus she lost
Her fairy ways
Her lips turned blue
As she became
A human maid

Now wanders she
In forest dark
Not knowing where
Or how to find
Her way back home
and so it is......

Hare-ing or Horing....Wot A Way to Go!!!!!!!

Just like an old fable of the owl and the pussy cat so the hare and the hound can be changed into something rather different...a fun piece indeed for those who are not righteously indignant or indignantly righteous....enjoy

Going Which Way

The hare and the hore one lovely day
Decided to find an excitingnew way
Playing around could be such fun
High and low and inbetween
Ninety Six indeed
It matters not at all to me
For choices always they are free
When lovers together come
Perhaps lusters often we do mean

A bump a hump across a tree
That lines the way so beautifully
Into treasures hidden are they
Within a mass of clotted hair

The Opening

A projection long and pink
Sometimes mottled brown indeed
Expanding then in tandem sweet
Between a purse of wrinkled skin

Hiding there in glorious disarray
A sweeping fur of coloured hue
Leading the way
To treasures hidden deep inside

Ecstasy

The hore and the hare
Together did they
Go out and look for
Vicarious ways

Some they might find
So varied would be
To anything else
That had happened for them

A ritual intense
Lifting beyond
What had gone on before
An upheaval immense
Never again to experience]/i]

Strait and Laced

If you mind on certain tracks doth run
Within this story you will find
A rather norty piece indeed

Then those of you so strait and laced
Will huff and puff indignantly
Forsooth ask if deleted it can be
Forget you do that words alone
Should not to you bring such aplomb

But then the choice is yours for you to make
As it will always be!!!!!
