Seeking Long Lost Loves...a Knightly story

Most people believe when they are young that the prince or princess of their dreams will come one day to be with them...perhaps the search has been going for a long long time...whether you believe or not

Many Mansions

Turn not away from me my friend
You know not what you do
Darkness is what you will face then
Pity upon you

The Light shineth through everything
The darkness knoweth not the Light
Into darkness you do go
When from it turn you do

My Father's house has many mansions
In which we all may dwell
Even you in your utter darkness
Your touching into hell
One day too will break that spell

Searching

The gallant prince on his mount so bright
Came galloping through one dreary night
In vain he looked for his lost love
Where dwelleth she he did not know
But kept on looking
Through lifetimes he had ridden so
Not really knowing where to go
But deep deep inside he knew
Find her he would one day

Lovely Maiden of the Night

Hidden high up in the sky
The castle reared its enchanted spire
The clouds did cover all around
Denying sight those on the ground

In the room atop this place
circular room it was
Filled with many treasures
Jewels and silks and furnishings galore

The most precious one of all however
Was a maiden oh so bright
Her softly waving hair hung down
Covering her tiny white toes

Across her bosom it curled and sang
He comes he comes to find you soon
Be patient oh my fairy queen
Lovely maiden of the night

Magic Spell

But she knew so very well
That only in the daytime could she dwell
With her lost love
For nightime brought a host of things
That hid her from her lover's sight

It cast a pall of doom and gloom
Across the passage up to the moon
Wherein the castle she now dwelled
Brought there by jealous people's magic spell

Only the Light could guide him hence

Together Again

A lifetime in eternity
Perchance for her to see
And know
And be
The one he searched for
So long now

Yet in their hearts
Buried deep within
Each one knew
The day would come
And soon
Together they would be
and so it is

Looking for true love and partner can be a lifetime pastime for us. Only the very few find soul-mates while right here! Modern lifestyles do not make it easy anyway! Thanks for another lovely, dreamy and romantic outing filled with matching embellishmentsincluding the apt video - siva

We have dreams and imaginations. We have got feelings which we like to have and enjoy. We are all searching for what we believe is beautiful and appeasing.

The Reality of Dreams or perchance the Dreams of Other Realities

cnwriterBy cnwriter

Did you ever wake up from such a lifelike dream that you wondered where you were on opening your eyes..the room seems to shift around you and colours move..and did your body jerk just before you woke up...oh ho ho...just You coming back from another place adjusting to the temporal form....enjoy it all!!

Beginnings

A tiny rent appeared
Betwixt the flying clouds
Through which a glowing sun
Sent beams of gleaming light

Alight they did on a small boy
His curly head lay deep in sleep
Cuddled against
His mother's breast
Dream he did of places vast
Where once upon a time he dwelled
Magic poured from every side
He knew forever it would last

Battles

He saw himself as a young man
Handsome upright brave
Off to battle he did go
To rescue a fair maid

Evil he fought at every turn
Strange forms beleaguered him
But with his sword of might
His sword so shining bright
He slayed them all

Another Dream

That lifetime passed
Like any dream
Another took its place
This time in streets of Bagdad he was
A beggar begging alms

Long robes encrusted dirt
Around his body stank
His hair so lank
Hiding the beauty of his eyes

Other Lands

Inbetween these waking dreams
His mother bent to kiss his cheek
Her love enveloped him all ways
She knew what he was going through

These journeys were for her too
When as a child she did lay
In father's lap one summer day
He told her of the distant lands
Not only on Mother Earth
Planetary lifetimes could be known
If chosen and related to

More Than You Can See

The mother and the child smiled
Knowing each other's secret ways
Shared so intimately were they
Loving hearts in tandem joined

I know these happenings very well
Journey on them I do
If they ring true to you
So be it
If not
That's just your lot

Maybe in lifetimes to come
You will realize
There is more to see
On heaven and earth
Than goes on in your eyes

and so it is
